Bio
Taylor Deupree (b. 1971) is a sound artist, graphic designer, and photographer residing in New York. In 1997, he founded 12k, a small record label respected worldwide that focuses on minimalism and contemporary electronic and acoustic hybrids. Deupree has been working as a freelance graphic designer in New York for 16 years. His photography and design can be seen on hundreds of CD covers and has been featured in international design publications from the US, UK, and Japan. His work is pervaded by themes of minimalism, stillness, atmosphere, nature, imperfection, and an intense passion for the working process.
